What the specifications mean

Derived from the archived manufacturer recordHow Velopedia reads these specifications →

Suspension is concentrated at the fork, so fork setup and rear-tire pressure are the main tools for balancing front and rear behavior. The electric-assist system adds another maintenance layer, especially battery condition, charger compatibility, motor operation and any available diagnostic history. The 10-speed drivetrain is straightforward, but replacement shifters, derailleurs, chains and cassettes still need the same indexing standard.

Suspension setup Front only Fork settings affect the front while rear-wheel behavior remains dependent on tire and wheel setup.
E-bike system Electric-assist The drive system needs its own battery, charger, motor-control and diagnostic checks in addition to the bicycle components.
Drivetrain 10-speed system A 10-speed label alone does not guarantee compatibility; the control and drivetrain parts still have to match.
Brake service Hydraulic disc Pad and rotor condition plus the correct bleed fluid are the primary service checks.

Used-bike inspection

If you’re buying this bike used

Before any test ride: both brakes should stop the bike firmly and release cleanly; both wheels should run true and be securely attached; tires should have no casing damage; and the headset, handlebar, stem, cranks and pedals should have no looseness or play.

Follow the full used-bike inspection order →
  • FrameLook closely for dents and hairline cracks around welds, the head tube and bottom-bracket area. Cosmetic scratches matter less than a change in shape or a crack line.Inspect the frame and fork →
  • BrakesBoth levers should feel firm and return cleanly. Check for fluid around the levers and calipers, inspect pad thickness and contamination, and look for worn or bent rotors.Inspect the brakes →
  • E-bike systemConfirm the main battery charges with the correct charger, locks securely into its mount and has no case damage, swelling, corrosion or overheating marks. Power the bike on from cold, test every assist mode and ask for available battery-health and diagnostic records.Check the battery and electronics →
  • SuspensionAsk when the fork was last serviced. Check the stanchions for damage, look for oil at the seals and make sure the fork moves smoothly without bushing play.Evaluate the suspension →
  • Wheels & tiresSpin both wheels and watch the rims for side-to-side or vertical movement. Check for dents, cracks, loose or uneven spokes and hub play, then inspect both tire casings for cuts, cracking or exposed threads.Check wheels and tires →
